Shelli is a mixed media artist, knitter, sewist, and maker living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her formal work explores the complexities of emotions in modern America. As a poor child with financial constraints, she found freedom in public school art rooms and riot grrl zines. Found materials were initially the sign of deprivation and her community. Her art is still trying to mesh her passions, much the same. 

In a former life she was an award winning photographer.
